Perfect location for Kyoto , close to Gion and a short walk to lots of the tourist attractions such as the shopping district, Kyoto sumo show (which is epic!) and the Samurai museum which was also great

“Excellent location, near new hotel!”
The location and comfort of the hotel were excellent. I'm only taking a point iff because there was insufficient space to store toiletries and clothes.

We have been to Prince smart sanjo 3x now always excellent we can’t fault the place, the staff are exceptional, greet when you arrive back after busy day and greet when leaving, more expensive place to stay but great place to stay in Kyoto, thanks

“Needs more amenities and better use of space”
Location was great, on a lateral street, little to no noise. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Room was of decent size with very good pillows and maitress, a good working shower.

“We enjoyed the hotel and Kyoto :)”
The helpfulness of the staff at all times. However, when my daughter left her Goshuin book in the room , the staff were exceptionally helpful in finding it and then forwarding to a hotel on our future itinerary .
