Stellar location with being right at the middle of lively Sanjo. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores around. Rooms were clean and amenities were readily available at the lobby for you to help yourself. Free breakfast was Ala carte with a Japanese flair, pretty interesting options provided.

Perfect location, right next to the main shopping streets and very close to transportation to Arashiyama or Gion, but absolutely quiet. Very clean. Extremely polite and helpful staff.

Great location near Pontocho Alley and Gion. Hundreds of restaurants and shops nearby. My room had a nice view from the ninth floor. Bed was big and comfortable. Air con worked well. Bathroom was a good size with a large walk-in shower. Staff were very pleasant and helpful with suggestions. 24-hour taxi rank outside the front entrance

Excellent location very close to bus stops and train stations and Gion. Many restaurants, bars, shops around. Excellent breakfast, 4 choices including american, french toast, croque monsieur and japanese, as well as juices, coffee and tea. Room quite spacious compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan, water pressure of shower very good! Very clean. Would absolutely come back and recommend.

“Overall, a good and very convenient stay.”
The location is excellent — 5 minutes to multiple Metro stations and only a few stops from Kyoto Station. There’s also a bus stop right outside. Both 7-Eleven and FamilyMart are right next to the hotel. The busy Sanjo–Kawaramachi shopping street (GU, Uniqlo) is just 2 minutes away, and the famous Gochisou Yakimusubi Onimaru rice ball shop is also very close. You can easily walk and shop from Sanjo to Shijo Kawaramachi.
