Great location, within walking distance from Kyoto station. Perfect for a a family or a group of travelers. It makes it a great value for money. Very comfortable with everything you need inside: heating, AC, cooking amenities, laundry, shower and bath etc. Nicely arranged interior in Japanese style if that is what you are looking for. Everything is properly explained before arrival and various instructions are available inside of the accommodation in english and other languages. You do not get to meet the staff/owners and you get a code by email which you use to access the house. If you do need to get in touch with someone, they are very responsive by message and you can call as well.

Beautifully decorated house, comfortable beds & with superb facilities (complete toilet amenities, well equipped kitchen, wifi with good speed, netflix is available & wide selection of tv channels). We should have spent more time in this house :)

Nice, impeccably clean, great traditional atmosphere, every item has its purpose, some are not so apparent but if thinking deep enough, we figured it out, interesting! which then make the stay wasn't just a stay but an opportunity for exploration of this traditional Japanese house in Kyoto.

Traditional style Japanese house experience that hotels cannot offer. Perfect setup for a family with laundry and cooking facility. The house was very clean. Appreciate the attention to details and decorations around the house. The location is very convenient, about 10mins walk to Kyoto train station. Convenient stores are just around the corner.
