The compact 2-person apartments of Kobito House feature a kitchen, free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom. Free-use bicycles are provided. The apartment is a 10-minute stroll from JR Tambaguchi Station, while the studio is a 5-minute walk from South Gate of Saiin Station on the Hankyu Line. Shiritsu Byoinmae Bus Stop is 6 minutes on foot. Kitchens come with a microwave, coffee machine and fridge. Some studios have a bathtub, and all have air conditioning and basic toiletries. This property does not have a front desk. Nijo Castle is a 5-minute drive from House Kobito. Nishi Hongan-ji Temple and Higashi Hongan-ji Temple are both a 10-minute drive away. Studios and Apartments are located in separate buildings a 10-minute walk apart. No meals are served.

“Like home!!!”
The host was very friendly and there was a good communication. She took into account what was agood time for me to check in. She took time to explsne everything, although I was a little bit clumsy (because I was very tired and have a very bad memory). She was very friendly and stayed patient. She was relaxed, so I could laugh about it. And my stay started relaxed. I felt very comfortable in the little house. I could use everything (although I hardly did). But it felt very hospitable. She said I could ask her always for help, if I needed. But everything was clear. The location was good. Authentical. The little house álso. It was só nice to stay in a real Japanese little house. I felt happy with it. Shops and restaurants were on walking distance.

“We will definitively come back here.”
Hitomi, the anfitrion: She was very kind, nice and attent. She made us feelt like home since the first step we put in the house. What make me fall in love with the house in t'he first place was the traditional "Machi-ya" look, but what make me fall even more in love is that it actually felt like a real home, not the typical hotel empty room. It was a BLESS that the bikes where included, the best way to visit Kyoto is by bike!
