“Easy and lovely stay to explore Kyoto”
Super clean - especially the shower rooms are very well maintained. The staff are friendly and overall atmosphere of the hostel is quiet and lovely. It’s located in a cute neighbourhood within a walking distance from Kamo River and Pontocho alley.

“Overall it was a good stay, not very far away from main area, staff was also very friendly and rooms and washrooms were”
The property is near very beautiful canal with cherry blossom on both sides. That place is magical, me and my friend whenever got time we went there and spent time doing nothing. Definitely one the highlights of our trip

“Charming and hip hostel”
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Common area is a cafe in the daytime with a helpful vibe. The shower/bathroom areas are really clean. The rooms have what you need. Luggage storage available. Bike rental available. Really nice shower

The staff were welcoming, kind, and very helpful. The cafe downstairs has a lovely atmosphere. The hostel is near buses and not too far to walk from lots of Kyoto’s main attractions.

“Perfect and adorable hostel!”
Adorable hostel with lovely, friendly staff, and clean rooms which all had an adorable aesthetic - I love the little cabin rooms in the mixed dormitory. The breakfast was very nice with good coffee, and the kitchen is well equipped. The atmosphere is really cosy and cute. Bathrooms also very clean and well equipped. Location is really nice in a quiet zone near the river, well placed for travelling in Kyoto.

The location was nice, near the river. Downstairs lounge area was comfortable with kitchen you can use. Shower pressure was great too!

“I like this place and will visit again: I know the staff will remember me!”
Niniroom has a lovely atmosphere - very friendly and relaxed and the staff are super-helpful. The communal spaces are welcoming and it is good to feel you are among a community. Facilities are clean and well-maintained and easy to use. I self-catered for most days, but I had one lunch at the cafe and it was excellent. A small collection of books and magazines as well as leaflets and notices about festivals and events are very useful for weekend ideas, as well as the bikes for hire.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in! Highly recommend - place itself is very cosy, comfortable and friendly, staff very professional and helpful. Location is great, lots of interesting spots, including places to eat, shop or explore, are easily reachable by foot. Probably the best part of the hostel is its common area that also serves as a cafe during the day - the meals served there were of the best we tasted in Kyoto actually.

“Splendid hostel with affordable price!”
Niniroom is the best stay we had around Kyoto! The staff, Natsumi-san was very friendly and easy to talk to, and every instructions were clear. The room is comfy and the shower, toilet, washing machine, dryer were all in the same place so it's easy to use and access. And they all are very clean and in great aesthetic. Everything is working just fine. And the lounge! The lounge is one of the best lounges we've ever had! Thank you, for the great place to stay for a great price! Thank you, Natsumi-san! We're looking forward to our next stay at Niniroom in the future. ✨
