The property was extremely warm and cozy, it also looked incredible with both a warm homy feel and a traditional Japanese aesthetic. The facilities were great and the living room was an incredible space for socialising. Bedrooms were large and comfortable.

Absolutely fabulous place, spot on utilities and perfect cleaness, spacious with artistic decorations, 2 min from a convenient store, would recommend

So far the best stay in Japan. With huge space and comfy rooms. The only downside is that it is a little far from the nearest station [this is with comparison to JR Gate Hotel, so, still not too bad]

The property is beautiful, traditional Japanese with a modern feel. Parking space is big but the surroundings roads are very tight for a big car.

The design and cleanliness of the accommodation was incredible. Great proximity to public transport. Also the host accommodated our request for early check-in at short notice.

“Beautiful tranquil home in heart of the city”

Beautiful home, not far from bus stops, convenience stores at both ends of the street. The garden space is very tranquil. Comfortable beds. Nice living dining space. Very handy to have washer/dryer along with air drying room in shower/bath room for clothes that can't go into drying machine. Only 2 of us staying, so room was very large, and we'd plenty of space throughout house.

It was an amazing stay in an amazing city in the most spacious accommodation I have ever stayed in Japan so far. Staff were super helpful as well! Free parking, well-equipped kitchen and bath. Great for large groups and totally worth the rate!

“Beautiful, Convenient, and Comfortable 2-Bedroom Kyoto Machiya Style Townhouse”

Absolutely stunning, private, and safe home tucked into a quiet backstreet on the western side of downtown Kyoto! Modern Japanese with garden, comfortable mix of western and Japanese furniture, and a gorgeous soaking tub looking out to the garden. A 2 minute walk to convenience store and bus stop, about 5 minutes to the train station. It does have a parking space for a small car, though we did not need it. This townhouse is perfect for visiting Kyoto!
