“Cosy, fuss free accommodation near Kyoto station.”
The room was small but clean & thoughtfully furnished. The bathroom amenities (by DHC) were moisturising and pleasantly scented, and the water temperature was easy to control--both of which are not a given in other accommodations I stayed at. The process for checking in and out was straightforward, at a reception office 10 minutes' walk away from Hachi Inn. The luggage keeping service was also good to have.

“All in all o.k.”
Sizable room with bath and toilet separated. Windows could be opened for fresh air. At least there was an extension cord to compensate for the lack of sockets. Check out with just leaving the keys was convenenient.

“Superb Stay”
We liked everything from start to finish. The check-in is smooth and the staff is gentle and very knowledgeable. They explained us everything in details and the check-in desk is on a walking distance from Kyoto train station and very easy to find. The location itself is again, according to us, at a walking distance. Roughly nine minutes away from the train station. The property is in a nice and quiet area of Kyoto, away from the traffic but yet close to the train station. The room is big and spacious and the kitchenette adds that home-comforting vibe. We will come back once we are back in Kyoto as we have been very satisfied during our stay.

“Amazing stay in Kyoto”
Amazing modern hotel in Traditional Japanese style. Personnel was very friendly and had a lot of good tips! Very big room, very nicely decorated and all you need was there. The location is also great as it's very close to Kyoto station and there are some nice sightseeing spots closeby.

Great location within short walking distance from the Kyoto train station. A bit further away from Downtown Kyoto where most of the tourist attractions are - most are within 15-20min bus ride. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even the members who struggled a bit with a language barrier. Very generous room size and well equipped - good iron and ironing board, microwave/mini oven, good range of amenities.
