The male receptionist, Andy, who speaks both Mandarin and English, was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The location is excellent—about an 8-minute walk from Kyoto Station—and it was easy to roll our suitcases there. The room was clean, and the deep bathtub was perfect for soaking in after a long day of walking. The bed and linens were also very comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. Not to mention the breakfast spread, which was delicious and offered a great introduction to Kyoto's local specialties and signature dishes. It was a wonderful way to experience the local cuisine without leaving the hotel.

Rooms were of good size. They were quiet and new. The hotel was in a great location close to train station and many restaurants within a 10 minute walk. 7-11 right next door was very convenient
