We stayed in the Japanese traditional room with stunning view of the ocean! The room is very cosy with comfortable futons. Facilities are clean and well maintained. High Quality traditional Japanese breakfast provided. The onsen is the most attractive part: neat and charming designs, spacious,and the outdoor part is breezy and again ocean view. most unforgettable is the staff: their warmth, their smile. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to experience Japanese hospitality

“Relaxing and resourcing”

We had a wonderful stay at this ryokan. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our visit. The food was comforting and delicious, and the whole inn had a beautiful traditional charm that made the experience feel very authentic. The view over the bay was lovely, the futons were very comfortable, and the onsen was beautiful and relaxing. Thank you again for the excellent service, and a special mention to our Nepalese waitress, who was extremely attentive and caring during our stay. We truly appreciated her kindness.

The staff we extremely friendly and would do anything to give us the best experience. Facilities and food were great. Incredible views from our room. We didn’t have a car so they offered a free shuttle bus to train stations whenever needed.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay here. The hotel offered both beautiful indoor and outdoor onsens, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The dinner was absolutely delicious, featuring fresh, local ingredients, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay truly special.

Very comfortable, hospitable, traditional Japanese Ryokan with great bath and breakfast. Easy walk to sea for sunset views. We walked to Hisami for dinner but next time would consider getting full board.

“Lovely little town, amazing baths and genuinely friendly service”

The young Japanese gentlemen who checked us in on the first day was the best. He really went above and beyond to make sure that we had an amazing experience. He accommodated all our requests, and even surprised us with a special birthday cake for my husband. Aside from the incredible service, we absolutely loved having free access to the private family bath. All baths are beautiful, but being able to enjoy the kashikiri buro at no extra cost was also a highlight! Excellent value for money, and great for families.

The provided food is one of the highlights: The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety. Ramen supper was also a very welcome end to the day. Post onsen drink or ice cream with free flow coffee and matcha was also included Rooms were clean and comfortable. Onsen had many pools Next to Kyoto station so good for those using it as a base

“Quiet, relaxing traditional stay by the sea”

The room was super spacious, with a separate tatami room. It even had a genkan. Breakfast was a feast, with a view. The bath, particularly on the 4th floor, had a great view of the sea from above. Plenty of parking available. The guy at the reception who checked us in was fun and friendly, and spoke good English.

“A lovely ryokan stay”

We loved the view of the town and harbour from iur room and the private onsen was a great experience. All the amenities were great and we especially liked the yukata which was also provided for our 3 year old son. He loved it so much, he went to grab it to put it on as soon as we got back to the room everyday. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

Quiet location within driving distance to Ine. Private onsen was most enjoyable. Pyjamas and yukata were comfortable.

Multi-course superb japanese breakfast, traditional experience, eat while viewing the most beautiful, relaxing ocean scenary. The onsen is wonderful, open till 11pm. The village itself is quite remote, dont expect a buzzling tourist hub. Situated on the ocean scenic parkway route 178, gorgeous!

The hotel is located in the seaside town of Taiza. Beautiful view of the village from the bedroom. There is a small sitting area where you can enjoy the view while drinking tea. The hotel has common baths for men and separately for women. Upon request you can also book a private bath. I booked the half board and the food was amazing!!! There was so much to eat and I felt guilty I couldnt finish some of the portions. Although the hotel is abit old but we like the feel of it and enjoyed our stay immensely.
