The serenity of Kwadijk, a 10 minute walk from very regular busses, waking up to the sound of birds was a welcome relief from the crowds and noise of Amsterdam. A short train ride north gets you to Hoorn and south to Centraal & the airport.

Very modern, spacious apartment. With a nice terrace where you can have breakfast and dinner while listening to the birds chirping.

Absolutely amazing! There is thought in every little detail, from the basket to do a bonfire to the breakfast basket, everything was truly incredible. Karin and Michiel were also extremely kind and could not recommend a better place for a quick getaway from the city!

This accommodation is a real gem! The interior is wonderfully selected, the apartment is excellently and modernly furnished. From the USB socket in the wall to a TV under the ceiling to a wonderful rain shower - nothing was missing to make our stay really pleasant and relaxing. Also very impressive when the sun shines through the spacious patio door onto the bed in the morning - what a wonderful way to wake up. A great experience even in rainy weather! If we had had more time, we would certainly have roamed through the adjacent small forest. Even if it was only one night, we will keep this stay in very pleasant memory. Many thanks again to Karin and Michiel, we very much hope to have the opportunity to come back again soon and then for a longer time!

The peace, quiet and nature

The room is spacious and looks gorgeous. Very modern and clean. It's quiet and dark at night, ideal for a great sleep. It has a short cute forest trail, with lights. The hosts are super nice and happy to help with ideas about what to explore around. Free parking spot.

This was so stunning house. We find the TV and bath room were super cozy and fancy. The interior design was full of design collection, which makes me feel happy. The owner was also really kind and warm! the Campfire place is highly recommended! and easy to see the stars in the night🥰

“A nice romantic house”

At the beginning, it was a bid hard to understand the environment around the house by looking at the pictures. I thought that it's in a forest, but it is not. It's a regular Dutch house, but its garden is like a mini forest, which is something that I haven't seen before. As the owners said, it's not as big as you'll get lost, but at the same time it's much much bigger than a garden and you may think that you're in a forest :) We spent three days there and we were quite satisfied with our stay. The unique things in my opinion: -The tv setup was quite nice, it's attached to the ceiling. You can play with its angle and you can watch it from your bed. -There was an opportunity to have a campfire at the backyard in the evenings and this was something much better than we expected. The owners give you a pile of wood and you can fire by yourselves. We liked it very much, so we had it two times during our stay. -The shower was really really nice. I have been in different hotels and vacation houses so far, but as far as I remember this was the best I have so far. It wasn't something very complicated, but the amount of water and the pressure was very good, that makes it quite relaxing for you. -The forest at the backyard! As I mentioned above, this is something that I haven't seen before, so it was something unique for this property.
