“Peace”
Self catered on this repurposed car ferry. This is a luxury accommodation in a stunning location. We were in a beautiful peaceful place, surrounded by nature. Safe, quiet, relaxing, even in poor weather - incredible when the weather was good! If you are a large group or family, this is an amazing experience that you should definitely try!

We liked almost everything, the location, the boat house, the facilities, friendly engagement with the owner and the support he delivered during our stay. We had a very long road trip in lofoten islands and felt so comfortable with our relaxing stay for the last 3 days of trip at Volda. We highly recommend the place for anyone and would definitely come back once again in different weather.

“Perfect stay.”
Very unique experience to stay in this former ferry boat. You have everything you need inside, very comfortable and relaxing. Great view from the boat to the fjords too. Espen also went extra miles to help us with some groceries as most supermarkets were closed on Sun when we arrived. Would definitely come back if there’s a chance.

“The most beautiful and perfect place to experience the arctic”
There are no words for how beautiful and magical this place is! it was most definitely the highlight of my trip and I think my favourite accommodation I have ever stayed at…. and I travel a LOT! The owner met us and made sure we got groceries before we went to the boat, the space he has created is just incredible. Every single thing you could need has been thought of from a fresh little herb garden, to playing cards and everything in between. I can’t express how highly I recommend staying here if you are lucky enough to get the chance!

“Absolutely incredible property, a spacious sanctuary surrounded by stunning scenery!”
This floating home is by far the most incredible place I have ever stayed at! Epic views of snow capped mountains, surrounded by the serene water of the fjord, beautiful interior and lovely spacious living area. Beds were comfortable and I loved the walk in shower with panoramic views over the fjord. What an experience! Would love to return.

Everything. If you wanted a private place to stay away from the city this is your pick. Espen, the owner was very nice and accommodating. The place is perfect specifically at night were you can even hear your thoughts. I recommend that you buy all that you need from the grocery because the closest one is 15mins away, but once you have all your supplies you can sip wine and watch the Fjords and the water. Truly an amazing place.

Superbe location, great nature surrounding and very nice host - really breathtaking and beautiful in both good and bad weather. Enjoyed the fishing, collecting wild blue and cloud berries and great food the region has to offer

INCREDIBLE location, boat, experience. We absolutely loved our time and feel like we have been in a dream. Casper was a super lovely host and even let us feast on his delicious cod fillets and the delicious coffee. We saw dolphins, seals, an otter and will never forget our time there. Thank you.
