Peaceful and authentic place. Wonderfull staff and exceptionally good food for breakfast and dinner. Perfect place if you want to stay bit away from all the hustle and bustle of cities and resorts.

We enjoyed our stay at Ajakka a lot and will definitely come back. The rooms are big, very cosy and comfortable. The owner has an eye for detail and has put a lot of love into the place. ☺️ If you love animals, this is also a great place to be!

“Perfect family stay in the summer”
All 3 rooms were perfect to host our 2 families (well connected and roomy) Very warm welcome from Mia and all people staying at the property Great access to lake to fish and swim with small boats - sauna is great with firewood Lots to do in area in the summer (hiking, rafting ..)

“Ajakka Magic.”
Beautiful location. Friendly and helpful staff, very accommodating to our needs. Nice room with small kitchen for preparing food. Lovely Cafe & Restaurant. Sauna available with lake swimming. Conveniently located for access to Ruka and Oulanka National Park. Very peaceful, tranquil and quiet.

“Magical place”
The location is magical, the sauna is a must, the owners are the best. Breakfast is very good. It’s on the lake, which makes it an exceptional place to see auroras just at your doorstep. I loved everything about the place.

The host was super nice and helpful. Very nice location near Oulunku national park and perfect for watching aurora. The rooms were very cozy and decorated with love. Sauna at the lake.

Miia is very kind, feel so confortable when you're here, very lovely. You have a Nice view of the lake, very quiet place, close to the hikes you have in oulanka park. Very great stay. Kiitos Miia!

“Amazing budget friendly place to stay in Kuusamo”
Ajakka is the place one must definitely stay atleast for couple of nights!! The owner is very friendly and very sweet she even kept the sauna ready for us even though we checked in pretty late!! Love the sheeps and cats. Highlight is the sauna one must do the lake dip and its refreshing

Absolutely beautiful location right at the lake and close to the National Park. There is a sauna right by the lake and the rooms are very nice as well.

“Overpriced”
The room is in the farm, so we could see animals, including deers. It also has a lake access. It was an interesting experience.
