Gia runs this place as the friendliest guest house. I planned to stay for two days but stayed the whole week because I like this place so much. Beautiful place, great wine and all help you could need. Motsameta is 40 minutes walk from here. Also the view is amazing.

I travel by bicycle. Being able to take my bike into my room provided great comfort for me. The gentleman on duty is extremely helpful and friendly. You can stay here without any hesitation.

“Good experience”
The room was comfortable with the view of the mountains. Guests can also benefit from a large shared balcony with some sitting places. The owner is exceptionally caring and welcoming. He helped me with some travel arrangements and showed me a bit around. It is a good place for a longer stay to visit the city, discover some heritage sites outside it, and enjoy hiking.

I enjoyed my stay at Sofia Guest House. The room is big, equipped with AC and private bathroom. You can see the beautiful mountain from the balcony. Gia and his family- the owner, are very hospitable. They gave me tea and biscuits every morning. Gia also offered to pick me up from the train station and drove me to the city center. The place is situated a bit far from the city center and there is no public transportation. However, you can use bolt taxi with only 2-3 GEL. Highly recommend to stay here when you visit Kutaisi.
