This is a unique place and by far one of the most interesting i have ever stayed at. My room was very comfortable. The host is extremely communicative and intelligent person. She offered my a free room tour in her "museum house", unforgettable experience.

An amazing family museum where you can stay overnight, filled with historic artefacts and stories. The owner gave us a wonderful tour, which made the experience even more special. We stayed in an incredible room furnished with antique Bavarian furniture, and in the morning I felt a little like a princess. Mari, the owner, is an extraordinary person — a scientist, PhD, artist, and musician — and we had the most wonderful conversations with her in the kitchen.

Authentic, real and Very good host, offered, tea and fruits from the Own garden.

This is an extraordinary place that feels like a home of your friend. I stayed only one night but I enjoyed listening to the story of the house and the family. I was really warmly welcomed and I'm sure I would enjoy staying longer.

Hospitality and the authenticity and history of the places!

The best place to stay if you leave in a noisy city and get tired of it. Quiet, peaceful, and cozy - like in childhood. The hostess is very welcoming woman and a wonderful conversationalist. Everything was just perfect. I’m very grateful.

“The best guesthouse experience in my life”

What I experienced in this house with Mari and her daughter Tuti was the closest thing to coming back home after many years away. I feel deeply moved and profoundly grateful to both of them for opening their home and hosting me with such love, kindness, warmth, and generosity. During those days we talked about literature, world languages, cultures, cinema, politics, cooking, and the sheer wonder of being alive in this world. And that’s without even mentioning that thw house itself is a true dream. You can hardly believe the amount of art preserved there, passed down through generations, making the house feel like a living museum. The room was excellent: spacious, so comfortable, and so clean. But above all, what I will carry with me from this experience is the incredible friendship of Mari and Tuti. When I left in the taxi and saw them waving from the window, I was certain I would see them again. Hopefully very soon! Staying at Mari’s house with her and Tuti might just be one of the best guesthouse experiences you’ll ever have.

Fantastically interesting house and artefacts collected over the years by the host’s wise and cultured family.I loved talking to her and dismayed by her treatment by the current government. Despite all her problems and woes, she always thought of and assisted her guests.

This guesthouse was one of the reasons I wanted to go to Kutaisi and I was not wrong. Just starting in this amazing historical house and having conversation with the landlady was worth the travel. The house, as it is called, is really a museum filled with antiques from all over the world. The owner speaks very well English and presented us every object with its history, it was like a free guided tour inside. The garden is also adorable. It is very well located and we easily walked everywhere (and also bolt work very well if needed). As the big room was not booked, we had a free upgrade and felt like members of the royal family in that room. The bathroom just outside of the room was crystal clean and the kitchen too. Our 2 nights stay was like a time travel experience, we enjoyed a lot our stay thanks to the warm welcome and interesting conversations.

I liked absolutely everything. To be honest it’s the best stay in Georgia, I have been in many places, hotels, guest houses all around , but only here I could really feel like home. Great hospitality, very comfortable, perfect location an very silent district. Highly recommended !

Its amazing place and Mari is so so kind, nice, helping person. Staying at her place would give you a special experience which you do not have to miss. And bed is so comfy, that you sleep like a baby🙂
