It's a very beautiful house in a great location. The room was very spacious and clean. The hosts are super kind and helpful.

In the centre of the city. Really nice host who gave me a nice glass of wine. Very beautiful building and very clean apartment. It is easy to find and really quiet.

The location of this house is very near to the center. You can see everything by walking. The owner(women) were welcoming . Give us a welcome free wine and cake which was made by her. Near the house is super shops, restaurant money exchange everything.

Great location. Three mins walk from the colchis fountain and the drop point (Budget Georgia office,) of our return trip from Mestia, you are in the heart of the city when you stay with gem. It is a house built in 1899 and ye hostess was there to welcome us when we reached rather late at 9.30, tired from our 5 hours travel. She offered us warm Khachapuri which she had made herself and a lovely glass of wine, most welcome after a tiring travel. Beautiful ancient house with classy furniture and cutlery. Will be happy to come here again.

Guesthouse 1899 exceeded all our expectations! The location is unbeatable — just steps from the central fountain, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to explore the town on foot. Kristina is an amazing and welcoming host; she went above and beyond by helping with our laundry, greeting us each evening with wine and cake, and even making us delicious homemade khachapuri. The room was comfortable, cosy, and thoughtfully equipped, including robes — perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Incredible value for money and such a warm, personal experience. We can’t recommend Guesthouse 1899 highly enough!

Absolutely fantastic homestay in Kutaisi. Spotless clean, comfy, and close to everything. Amazing host, very hospitable and friendly. She even brought us homemade wine and bread at night. One of the best experiences in Georgia! And we had some of the best food in the restaurant nearby that she recommended to us (Baraqa).

Beautiful and cozy place right in the city center. The host lady was incredibly nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable, like at home. The accommodation is just a short distance from the center, close to all the sights. The price for such accommodation is almost unreal.

I personally recommend guests to come for a comfortable stay in this hotel...what I liked the most is it's host lady who is a doctor by profession...she is so well behaved and humble....at night she served us delicious cake...most importantly this hotel is in a centre place.
