“The onsen is perfect and wonderful for travelers to get proper retreat.”
The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a Taiwanese staff named 休 who is especially kind and offer immediate support towards our query. I wanna give him a big thumbs up!

“Very old hotel with SPA in the heart of Kushiro”
The SPA and the rooftop SPA is super ! Despite the fact that females have to climb three floors completely NUDE or use the elevator completely NUDE… Within their set of rules, personnel is very friendly and helpful, especially since some features (please see below) need lots of explanation.

“Not suitable for non-smokers or people who need temperatures below 25oC in the room.”
The staff at the onsen and counter were very helpful and friendly given our communication barrier. I appreciated they kept our clothes from the dryer for us, and the onsen staff for letting me view the family room onsen and for providing my son a cute yuakata after we used their onsen facilities. The public onsen facilities and 5 pools were cleaned and comfortable to use. The washing machine and dryer in the laundry room were thankfully smoke free and comfortable and convenient to use. The new towels provided everyday made it a comfortable stay despite the rooms not being made up the next day. Having a safe in the room made it more comfortable too. The carpark facilities were nice and clean - directions to these paid carparks were clearly given too.

“Great breakfast!”
Breakfast was excellent. It was the highlight of our stay at the hotel. Operable window in the room was appreciated. Size of room was good. Staff was very accommodating.

“Great location near the river and famous bridge and fisherman's wharf.”
Location was very good, within walking distance to almost everything including fisherman's wharf. The common bath was very good, large and clean. The robes provided in the room were very good. Our view from our room was very good overlooking the Kushiro river
