Well equipped and great value for money!

“Best value for money”

Probably best value for money for any place I ever stayed in Japan. Extremely clean room and shower, well equipped kitchen, free laundry machine and dryer, ample parking space, kombinuje just around the corner and many more shops and restaurants in the vicinity.

We were pleasantly surprised with the contacless check-in - just fill in the form, take the keys and that's it! The room in japanese style was gorgeous: super clean, bright and nice. Also, as guests, we could use a perfectly equipped bathroom and kitchen. The house itself is very cosy and it feels like you are at home. I'm very happy I've chosen the "Crane guesthouse" and would definetely choose it if travel to Kushiro city again.

Extremely hard to beat value for money. The host have a great attention to detail, everything is explained really well in Japanese and english and the guest house is clean, recent and extremely well equiped (bicycle, laundry room,cuisine with everything you'd need, coffee machine, etc.). To top it off the hosts are available, kind and attentive. You can even book a Thai massage in the guest house !

Really great value for money overnight near Kushiro before going off to the wetlands! Didn’t see the staff / lady that runs it but know she/they have put in a lot of effort to making it work well for them Great facilities and quiet area!

Super friendly host that welcomes you in her home. Everything you need is at your disposal. The optional thai massage you can book is also worth every yen!

Nice bright room, lovely free coffee and access to great kitchen.

“Great Guest house to explore the near by Nature Reserve”

Fabulous guest house, best of my stay in Japan so far. They have thought of everything a traveller may need, a fully equipped kitchen, an expresso machine on each floor with free coffee, a laundry with a dryer, also free to use. I stayed in a single room with a bathroom just outside the door. Excellent value for money for everything you get and more than half the price of hotels in town. It's a little outside town but you can get the bus which is 5 minutes walk. There are plenty of places to eat close by and a 7-11 just 2 minutes away. They also have three bikes to rent, one electric and two normal. 1000 yen per day for the electric and 500 for standard. I rented the electric bike and had a lovely day cycling all around the marshlands and crane observatory. I saw. cranes, deer, foxes, and lots of birds. Communication was easy, and staff came by to welcome me and give the bicycle the evening before I needed it.

The host is very welcoming and kind. The house is very clean. There's everything you need, from kitchen appliances to tumble dryer. 10/10

The room is very big and the bed is comfortable. Washing machine includes dryer which is very convenient.

The house was beautiful, the room big and japanese style. A wonderful stay - I'd be happy to come back!

The location was pretty central to the main road with all the shops. The room was a very good size, communal area slippers were provided, and the kitchen was fully stocked! I'm just sad that I didn't get to experience a Thai massage!!

Amazing place lot of character, felt more a guest in a Japanese house rather than a hostel ! Blanket and bed are so soft Everything you need laundry dryer super efficient ! Highly recommend!

Clean and comfortable, with a lot of facilities (laundry, coffee machine, etc…). Easy to go to Kushiro-Shitsugen National Park, even by bike. I would recommend with no doubt.

It has all the facilities you need. Lovely comfortable room.

Fantastic beds and duvets . Laundry available 24 hours . Quiet and very clean . Beautiful home .friendly and welcoming host .
