“Cozy and enchanting side trip to Kusatsu Onsen”
It is near the bus terminal, only a few minutes'walk. However, the slope is quite steep and a bit difficult to drag your luggage to the hotel. The ambience of the hotel was very nice and staff was very polite and helpful. The dinner was amazing, so was the breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

1. The onsen inside the hotel was great. Through the back door of the hotel, we had access to the public foot onsen as well. 2. Dinner was good, well presented and attractive, though it was not the best I had in other Japanese onsen hotels. 3. The room is big and clean, and beds are comfortable. 4. We loved all pottery that the hotel used in the room, in the bathroom, in the public areas and in the dining area. The cups, saucers, bowls, mugs, dishes, etc are made of pottery with appealing design. I guess they are all made by a local designer. 5. A staff was very generous to take us with our luggage to the bus terminal by his car as we understood the hotel would not provide drop off nor pick up services. We really appreciate of his great help as the road from the hotel towards to the main road was quite steep for us.
