“Lovely stay in Kusatsu”

Amazing staff, very attentive. The view was so beautiful. The room hot bath was perfect, for a couple. We could adjust the température. The private bath on the 6th floor were available, very beautiful, with another very beautiful view. Also nice for a couple.

The breakfast choice was excellent. The private room onsen was great. The bus shuttle was useful. The view from the room was nice.

“At peace”

This property is about a 10 minute walk from the centre of town and the yubatake, but there are regular shuttle buses the hotel provides taking you back and forth. This hotel is a gorgeous spa hotel. The music is gorgeous, they offer you free yukatas to borrow, in the middle of the hotel there is a very scenic pool via a waterfall and there is a gift shop inside. It offers onsens itself, a bar on one of the top floors with nice warm hotel snacks - such as warm meats and pasta and tea and coffee. The rooms with private onsets are impressive. The balcony is a decent size, with chairs overlooking the town, in a wooden look with a wooden onsen with onsen water from the town. I went in winter and it was still warm enough sat on the balcony in the fresh air. The showers and bathrooms are next door through a sliding door which I found extremely convenient. There is nothing more beautiful then being sat in your own private onsen outdoors, then after or during overlooking the beautiful town at night. They provide free snacks in the room, water, and the room is incredibly spacious. It was the ultimate spa experience for Japan, and for tattooed guests Kusatsu has many onsens such a short walk away where you can go into public onsens outdoors - see the sceneries regardless of your tattoos. Ultimately it was a beautiful hotel in a beautiful town and I was at peace while there.

What an outstanding hotel. We booked the deluxe room with open air bath and it was beyond our expectations. Even though it was a bit of a trek from Kanazawa, the JR network made it easy. Shinkansen from Kanazawa to Takasaki and limited express to Naganoharakusatuguchi station, there was a JR Kanto bus waiting for us to take us to Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal. Then a La Vista minibus was waiting for us to take us to the hotel. When we arrived, there were staff waiting for us, took our luggage to the lobby and explained the check-in and facilities to us in English. Super Easy. We were blown away by the room. Twin beds in a cosy little bedroom with doors, a lounge, an outdoor setting on the balcony, a wet room and the open air onsen bath with privacy shutters. The views from our 5th floor room were amazing, the town below us and the mountains surrounding the town, wow. There were snacks and drinks available between 3pm and 10pm. There was a timetable for the shuttle bus which took you back to the bus station or the Yubatake. The hills are steep, so the shuttle bus made it easier. This was the best hotel experience that we've ever had at a hotel, the staff were so helpful and kind. The hotel itself is well maintained and elegant. Outstanding!!

Atmosphere and staff were excellent. The private onsen and shuttle bus into town was very nice. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Just stay away from the overpriced dinner. If the food was better, it would have been a A+ experience. (the nighttime free roman was a great idea)

Words cannot fully describe how amazing the stay was. The room was absolutely amazing and spacious, the view from the balcony and private onsen was breathtaking, the staff were so friendly, kind and attentive, the meals were soooo delicious and beautifully presented. This truly felt like a living dream. I hope to comeback again! This experience was magical and well worth it. 1000% awesome and relaxing!

Very brilliant. With staff who can speak English at the counter. Explaining alot of the details when I go from hot spring to dinner. Staff have greeted us outside of the hotel road area to confirm of our arrival. Very lovely indeed and will recommend my family and friends who wanted to visit here.

Massive fancy room with comfy beds, silent AC, balcony with nice view and m'fin' personal outdoor bath. Also the only place on my trip with proper quality TP that won't disintegrate if you as much as sweat near it. Breakfast was pretty good, personnel very helpful. Free ice cream and stuff.
