Lovely hotel, looks very new and combines traditional with modern features. The connecting twin rooms are great for families with children. Beds are comfortable. The onsite Onsen is very nice, clean and easy to use. Lovely home-made breakfast.

“Aimed at Japanese tourist. For onsen experience one/two night stay, okay.”
The only positive I can say about AeruyadoTakamatsu, is the onsen. Due to this altough we had booked four nights, we left after staying three. Staff are very helpful, but have poor english thus hard to communicate with. They provide pastries and tea/coffee in the afternoon, which is nice after the onsen.

Staff was really kind and literally across the hotel in 1min walk you can find one of tthe largest onsen in town which is also my favourite one! Breakfast at this hotel is a must! Yukata and the jacket that was provided was really nice, soft and warm. Everything was very clean!

“Tragedy”
This hotel is a big joke. The room was supposed to be soundproof but then you won't sleep because a train runs from 2am every 10 minutes. The noise is so loud it's like you're standing at a station. The bathroom is so small you can't use the toilet because your foot touches the wall. But the hit is to order a massage. The masseur can only come to your room but without his bed, he will massage you on a hotel bed!!! which reaches halfway down your calf!!! shock and disbelief

Room is nice and clean. Pleasant environment. Staff are polite, helpful and friendly. Good location - less than 10 minutes walk to the Yubatake.
