One of the best hotels in my life. Fresh japanese breakfast was great. I felt myself like an VIP guest. just a foot step from the Sainokawara park + onsen. Would love to come again !!!

“Amazing Japanese style hotel”

It is a wonderful Japanese style hotel with very friendly staff and nice facilities such as indoor and open air baths. Since we only stayed one night, we almost felt like there was not enough time to enjoy it! Would love to come back. It is conveniently located in the town.

A park just nearby , Osen is good, can walking distance to the bus station

Very traditional Japanese ryokan but renovated well. Good service. Check out is 10am but could park the car until 2pm. Bathroom is so clean. Onsen is great. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast too.

The room was incredible and spacious. Hotel staff were very nice and made me feel very welcome. The onsen was such a pleasure to use as it has an indoor and outdoor section. In my room I loved the chair at the window. You sink right in and just take a moment to relax while having a beverage. If I ever return to Kusatsu onsen I will definitely wish to stay here again.

It is a very classic and elegant hotel. The property is extremely clean and the atmosphere feels both luxurious and comfortable. The private booking onsen was very clean and enjoyable. Although the food was decent, it was relatively ordinary compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Kusatsu.

Great hotel, staff are really good, location is great, facilities are really nice (a lot appear quite new). From the moment you walk in, the hotel has a great vibe to it.

We stayed in the annex. It was fabulous. So much room and close to the natural springs. The staff went above and beyond, when I injured my ankle snowboarding.

Next to Sainokawara Park, and walkable distance to Yubatake. Bus Terminal is also nearby. Clean and comfortable room with private onsen bath. Staff service is prompt and efficient. Awesome that you can select no meal option which benefits guests who would like to have their meals outside.

Magical historical hotel in Kusatsu! Right next to the hot springs park and situated on a slope overlooking the mountains and town. We were a bit afraid to book because the photos of the rooms didn’t look too appealing, but in reality both the rooms and the hotel itself is beautiful, modernised and comfortable inside, while maintaining a lovely period vibe! The public bath was also nice, with a relaxing outdoor pool.
