Overview
Boasting indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, 4 swimming pools and saunas, Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Village features various activities on site. Free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby and guests can enjoy playing at the bowling and karaoke facilities. Kusatsu Kokusai Ski Resort is a 5-minute drive away. The air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Japanese Yukata robes and slippers are provided for all guests, while the en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Ironing facilities and a humidifier can be borrowed for in-room use. Bicycle rentals are available for touring the area and a game room is on site. Guests can also spend time at the tennis court, fitness centre or simply shop for local souvenirs at the gift shop. Ski equipment rentals and storage is available. A buffet featuring sushi, steak and meals made from local ingredients are served at the Patio Garden Café. Hotel Kusatsu Onsen Village is a 25-minute drive from JR Naganohara Kusatsuguchi Train Station and a 30-minute drive from Manza Onsen Ski Resort. A free shuttle is available from Kusatsu Onsen Bus Stop, which is a 5-minute ride away.

Log House Cabin was nice. Bus shuttle service was excellent, very efficient. Dinner buffet was pretty good. Staff were helpful, onsen very nice.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. A couple of them did speak English pretty well. The onsen was good. The bed comfy. Close to natural so it’s really quiet. My gluten intolerant wife could find stuff to eat at breakfast, even though they can’t provide it officially. Plain rice (but delicious) and boiled eggs, veggies, are available.

Beautiful place. We love the log cabins that we stayed in. Private yet accessible to the main hotel with a short shuttle, available 24 hours.

“Peaceful stay with a serene view, relaxed & chill.”
Amazing & serene view around the log cabin I stayed in. Although it's a distance away from the main building (required a shuttle service) but the service is speedy, shuttle reach in less than 5mins. Alternatively, I can park my rented car right in front of the log cabin. Also love how the room flooring is heated, perfect for winter. Onsen experience is amazing as well. Yukata is prepared in the room so we could get comfortable after the hot bath. Air-dryer is also provided in the changing room, makes it very convenient and we all feel so fresh after it.

We stayed in the Wood cabin. The shuttle bus worked very well. They are realy fast.
