“A nice and affordable place to rest for exploring Kusatsu Onsen!”

The Guesthouse is very nice, very close to Yubatake and Otaki-no-yu. The owner is very friendly and gave me a short tour of the guesthouse. The check in/check out process is easy. For check out you can just drop the key in a letterbox, so it is really hassle-free. The dorm is very comfortable, very quiet. Each bed have a few power points, a fan, and locker. There is a common room, a dining room with amenities such as a microwave and fridge, toilets, laundry service, as well as showers. No sento/onsen, but there are plenty of other places around.

I loved this place. The owner was very kind to point me to a few very good places to eat. Bed was very confortable too, and during winter, there was a kotatsu in the common room.

Convenient location and friendly guest house.Its a good place to experience local gyoten with plenty of good onsen :) They have quiet hour so u can get good sleep.

“Love this place”

Great location near everything, the room was great, all was good value for the money.

Very pretty and cozy Japanese house. Owner is just 10/10, he shared all the best places in town. His English is not perfect, but there are beautifully hand made posters about everything on the walls.

We had a really lovely stay here. Such a warm welcome and the place was lovely. Great location too! Make sure you head to the nearby free onsen (chiyono yu) and the otaki no yu onsen (our favourite). The art around the guesthouse is very cool too - lots of local artists!

Cute guesthouse. The Japanese style room was comfortable. The bathrooms were modern and clean. It was up a small hill but close to the town and everything. Good value.

The host was super friendly - immediately gave a super welcoming vibe. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

The price was great. Other than that, there were no amenities and so many rules and restrictions on everything. The tone of the hostel was like being punished at school. We couldn't get any information or help from the staff too.
