“Great stay in Kusatsu Onsen”

Location was great. Private onsen so both of us could go, but it was too hot for us. Great sleep as duvet was so soft. Cute place.

The location is very convenient: close to the bus station, literally 3-5 minutes. Close to Yubatake, public onsen, shops, cafes. Very clean, two private onsen in the hotel. Nice staff. Very good value for money.

Jan 30-31 2026 Twin Room Hotel is a 3-min walk from Kusatsu Onsen bus station. And it is also about 2-3 min walk to Yubatake and the surrounding eateries. Room is clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. You have to remove your shoes before entering the hotel. There are some small white towels at the entrance. I think these are meant for you to take when you go to the public footbath at Yubatake. Hotel has 2 private onsens i.e. male and female together is okay. It is a private onsen room where you lock the room. But the onsen water is super hot. We could not go into the hot water but instead used the bucket provided to scoop the water, let it rest awhile and used it to shower. Met a fellow hotel guest who said the water at the public onsen was equally hot. There is a lounge on the first floor where you can have free coffee and your own meals and relax.

Clean and comfortable room, loved the private onsen which we got to use twice during our stay!

Great accommodation in an amazing location close to the centre of town. These were some of the largest rooms we stayed in across our entire trip. The price is extremely affordable for the quality of the accommodation. Would definitely stay in again.

Staff are very helpful and accommodating~ Walking distance to onsen, yubatake and bus station.

Staff had excellent English and bent over backwards to help accommodate both us and a late notice car parking. Fantastic location and great getting a key to the hotel so we could get back in after 10pm. Get there early for parking and notify the hotel in advance as there are limited spaces.

The location is good. And sufficient free parking at the hotel. Room is big, although sparsely furnished and a bit old. But otherwise, 2 decent private onsen in the hotel. Good enough.

The on-site private onsen was great! The rooms were very large. The location was very close to all the main attractions. Staff were very friendly and informative.

Perfect location, clean rooms, nice private onsens on the first floor. There's a cozy common space with tables and chairs, where you can have dinner by the fireplace. If you come here in winter - there are ACs and electric blankets to keep you warm at night. Everything was great about our stay.

The location is great, situated between the bus terminal and Yubatake, making it easy to visit Yubatake whenever we like. The room is appropriately sized for a family and offers good value for money. There is a private hot spring that you can use when the room is available; no advance booking is necessary.
