Overview
Just a 3-minute walk from the famous Yubatake Hot Spring, Kane Midori offers massage services and its own hot-spring baths. The Japanese rooms have futon beds and a Western bathroom. Tatami (woven-straw) floors and shoji paper screens complete the zen atmosphere in Kane Midori Ryokan’s air-conditioned rooms. All rooms come with a fridge and electric kettle, while the bathroom has a bathtub and amenities. Kusatsu International Ski Area is 1.5 km away.The ryokan is 11 km from Haneo Train Station, and 7 km from Sanroku Ropeway Station. Nikko-ji Temple is about a 5-minute walk away. The hotel offers ski storage and luggage storage. A hot-spring bath can be reserved for private use, for a fee. An authentic Japanese breakfast is served.

“Had an enjoyable stay and would love to stay here again.”
The ryokan looks new and the design is elegant and modern. Our room was spacious and well maintained. The ryokan is a stone’s throw away from Yubatake and the shopping streets. The meals provided was a sight to behold and tasty too.

“Truly a remarkable experience”
The staff was the most outstanding, polite staff I've ever had the plesaure to be treated with. This is what Japanese hospitality is like. I truly respect it. The rooms were big enough and very clean. The hotel in general was very well kept and the Japanese astethic was great. We also stayed in a private Onsen of the hotel for an additional charge, which was totally worth it. It was an outside Onsen and it was snowing - truly romantic. The price for value is excellent and the location is great too. Just a 3 minute walk to the city center.

The hotel was clean. Staff were amazing people - treat them well and with respect and you'll get it back plus more. They treated us like gods which at times, was overwhelming. But we appreciated the level of service that they offered.

The individuals running the hotel were most welcoming and attentive. The public baths felt very looked after, and the rooms felt incredibly authentic. My party was greatly appreciative of the staff and how willing they were to help us settle in. Despite their somewhat limited English, we still felt like they did their best to communicate and we certainly felt cared for throughout our time there. We trust recommend checking out their outdoor onsen and massage chairs, which are most indulgent indedd! We really recommend this one!

Very well maintained but still traditional vibe. Very nice onsen both indoor and outdoor. It never felt too crowded. Very good position to visit the town. Traditional dinner and breakfast served in the restaurant

“Beautiful example of japanese hospitality”
Beautiful mix between traditional Japanese and modern hotel with all the facilities needed. Epitomises Japanese care and services. Everything is meticulously clean and laid out to perfection, works like clockwork. The tea upon arrival, hotel onsen and yukata were a lovely part of the experience. The location was in the middle of everything. I would definitely stay here again

“Quiet, comfortable, relaxing place”
It was exciting to be able to choose your own yukata to wear. The breakfast was amazing. The internal elevator to the baths was handy as you don't have to travel through a lobby/large public space. Had a great time in Kusatsu thanks to Kanemidori.
