Will not come back.

The best thing is the hotel Onsen. They have better room than the one I had now but last time was next to a banquetting room which was very noisy.

An adequate hotel but a bit rundown

The staff are lovely and I liked the fact that you can store your luggage here before and after check in. The rooms are very comfortable and I had a good sleep here. The included dinner was delicious and had so much food.

Nice place, great location, but if you have tattoos, stay elsewhere.

The location is great, nearby the bus station, nearby the main center of the town, just walking distance from public onsens. The staff was really nice, despite not being able to talk in English, Google translate helped, and we got the message across well. They were very kind in helping me with the delivery of my luggage to other city. They offer that service, and was fantastic. I stayed in a traditional tatami room. The room itself was very pretty, and a traditional feel. Mine was en-suite with a toilet, not a bath, as I wanted to enjoy the public onsen that the hotel offers. Unfortunately, because I have tattoos I was not allowed to go into the hotel onsen facilities, in which was very disappointing as the local town onsens do accept tattoos, I went outside to be able to bathe. They have laundry facilities, very good and quick wash. I wish there was an area to get hot water, they have ice machine, water, but no hot water? The room got turned into beds daily, which was super nice to come back in the evening and the beds were ready for sleep. During the day, the beds were put away and was a lounge area. They provide yucata, and umbrellas for you to go and stroll in the town, very picturesque. They also provided for green tea, and light snacks in the room. Overall is a nice hotel, but I am disappointed that they d not allow tattoos in their onsen area, would be great to know PRIOR making the booking, so I can look elsewhere.

Trip to Fujikawaguchiko

The hotel is close to the lake and has free parking. Some good restaurants are about 700m from the hotel. Breakfast is ¥500/pp. Fuji Mountain can be viewed from the bedroom, but it's not a really fantastic view because part of the view is covered by other hotels' roofs. A better picture can be taken from the 5th floor windows.

Comfortable and relaxing

This is the second time I have returned to this hotel because I was very satisfied with the structure and the service. This time I decided to bring my friends too, so they could enjoy the hospitality of this hotel. Located about 5 minutes walk from the Yubatake, and about 15 minutes walk from the bus terminal (on request it is possible to book a free shuttle at specific times). The hotel is large and spacious and has recently done some renovations to improve the lobby area. It has rooms spread over various floors and offers both Japanese and Western style rooms, some even with private onsen. It offers a good, fairly varied breakfast buffet served in a panoramic room. The restaurant on the 5th floor is elegant and refined and dinner is excellent both in the choice of dishes and in the presentation. The onsen on the 4th floor is large and has both indoor and outdoor areas. It is also possible to book massages with truly very good professional masseurs. The staff is kind, helpful and ready to solve any problem. Highly recommended for a relaxing experience and appreciate the comforts of a classy hotel.

The worst hotel experience

We arrived in the evening and was given a room which was not clean. It was visible pee-stains on the toilet, stains and hair in the bathtub and in general a lot dust and hair all over the rooms. We understand that it can age, But This was wet marks and the thick dust shows that it has not been cleaned properly for ages. We talked to the staff in the reception and the only other option was to give us another smaller room with no shower since the rest of the hotel was fully booked. This was not an option for us since We booked and wanted a private bathroom and shower. The «solution» became that the cleaning personal went up two times more to Clean it again But it was still not better. Both times they were there not more than a few minutes so I dont understand How they can Clean a full hotelroom/apartment in 2 minutes. Since it was so late and fully booked around the town, We ended up Washing it ourself. The only compansation the hotel provided was 1000 yen discount per person, Which is Nothing compared to the total price which was originally over 23 000 yen. The only positive Thing was the lady in the reception Who spoke very Good english and tried to help. But because She didn’t have the power to make a decision, She could not do anything for us. She also told us that She thinks the fault was that the room was not ready when We arrived. But if This could been communicated to us from the beginning, We could have been more patient and understanding. Now This just turned out to be our worst experience with a hotel because of all the hazzle with going back and forth to Get it Clean, and it still ended up not being satisfying cleaned. Keep in mind We did not use any of the other facilites since We arrived late and checked out early.
