We liked the quality of the onsen but the options offered was quite limited. We like the special touch to make us comfortable while checking to sit us down to describe the hotels facilities and services.

Staff is super friendly and helpful, room is very cozy and clean. Even when I forgot breakfast they called me to remind about it. They were all very supportive until the last minute.

Very traditional food, maybe not catered to western tastes, but large servings and made with care. The staff were fantastic, even when we committed cultural faux pas, helping us with a smile. Onsen was a good temperature, outdoor bath was delightful. The view from our room was great. It’s not far to walk to the entire town. The hotel does a free shuttle to the bus station.

Futon bed is very low quality. Toilet is very small and old.

The staff was extremely helpful, polite and went out of their way to accommodate any need we had. Cannot stress enough how great they were.

“Lovely hotel experience, but ruined by ONE staff”

We were warm welcomed by the hotel staffs for checkin. Unlike the usual checkin process, we were asked to take a seat and wait for a staff to oritntate us around, we were served with hot towels, welcome drink and sweet. The staff were professional and the booking system for the dinner/ breakfast were simple. As the hotel is located above the hill, we had our opportunity to enjoy the view of kusatsu from above and saw other hotels beneath from our balcony. The hot spring was also wonderful, it was full of minerals and really comfy.

The location is not too far from the main street.

I enjoyed the japanese style accommodation,food and the onsen. Being an asian I am used to having rice for breakfast. I am not sure if the hotel provides choice of western meals.

The keiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious. The onsen facilities were spacious.

Excellent service from helpful staff. The onsite onsen. Also the shuttle service to n from the station was easy to arrange. Upon arrival , I got the lady at the Tourist Office to ring them and the bus came to pick us within, 10 minutes

“Best kusatsu stay ever!”

The hotel was in a great location, close to everything but not right in the middle of it all. The room was beautiful, the staff were helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to ensure guests were comfortable and assisted in any way they could. Even offering shuttle rides to any attraction that was further away than a 15 min walk. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be back.

The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The room is big, the staff are helpful, polite, and accommodating. The onsen was great! Truly value for money.

Most of staffs are friendly. The shutter bus is available to pick guests from bus terminal. The hotel should inform guests soonest the booking is confirmed.

Service staff at dining very attentive and polite. Our room came with breakfast & dinner. The meals are very well- planned and delicious. We enjoyed the chef's cooking.
