“Great in all ways!”

Delightful Japanese breakfast - so tasty and pretty. The staff were very lovely and made us feel totally welcome and relaxed. The onsen facilities were extremely clean and always available whenever we wanted to use them.

This small ryokan has a very special charm — you can immediately feel that it is run with genuine care and passion. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and incredibly welcoming, making it easy to feel at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. One of the best parts of the stay were the four private baths, which were beautifully maintained and made the experience feel really relaxing. The staff (owners?) were absolutely wonderful: kind and always smiling, creating a truly lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was also excellent — fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with great attention to quality. A wonderful place for anyone looking for a more intimate and authentic ryokan experience.

Location was great - very near to Yubatake and other attractions. Their breakfast was excellent - 2 different themes for the 2 nights we stayed. Great to, that they had a coffee machine that was available all day round!

“Lovely stay”

Such lovely staff, felt like coming into a family home. The location was EXCELLENT, two minute walk into the middle of it - parking was a little bit confusing (it's next to the hotel - just not a lot of signage), more information before arriving might be helpful! The rooms were a great size and the different baths were great too. Caution to over packers - the narrow stairs can be a bit difficult navigating with big luggage - be ready to be strong and nimble.

Very unique bean concept! I enjoyed the matcha welcome experience. The bean-themed breakfast was really cute and delicious too. Room was spacious, beds were cozy and comfy. Staff were friendly and helped us make a phone reservation for a local restaurant. The yukata was comfortable and warm even in winter, although the geta was a bit hard to walk in. Would have been better to just walk around town in our own shoes. That said, it is located very near to the Yubatake. Overall an enjoyable stay!

All the staff are polite, helpful and always with a smile. Breakfast was tasty and like an art. Room was comfortable and clean. The 24-hour self service coffee and juice bar was a great bonus. Just wanted to say all good reviews by previous travelers are 100% accurate.

Excellent for most of it, except for the steep staircase. Very difficult for people with knees/ legs problems & elderly as all the rooms are located on 2nd level. Overall, we are happy with our stay. Thank you!

Excellent location, especially if you're coming by bus, as it's a very short walk from the bus terminal, but also an easy short stroll to the Yubatake and centre of activity. Breakfasts were amazing - diverse, beautifully presented and tasty, plus they catered well for a vegetarian. The room was spacious and comfortable, just not a fan of the pillow but otherwise great. The 4 on-site private onsens were useful. The only downside was staff English was pretty limited, but we all managed.

The staff, the room and the location were excellent

This place was amazing. We were at the end of our Japan trip and it was the best detox area. The owners were so nice and accommodating and the breakfast was beautiful. I literally can't fault anything.
