Amazing getaway in what feels like the middle of the jungle. There is a natural pool with a great view and they serve delicious food that is grown in their own garden. The hosts are super friendly and they even gave us a tour of the garden where they grow all their produce. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing views in the garden and jungle, super friendly owner, great fresh food from the garden, everything clean, nice pool! Just check the roads which is tared, then you only have to drive a bit on a dirt which, which is also absolutely doable with a TukTuk.

We stayed at the bungalow with the best view and an outdoor bathtub—it was absolutely magical. We spent three unforgettable days here, and it was by far the best part of our trip to Sri Lanka. We had complete freedom, and the entire place has a romantic, almost dreamlike feel. Every evening, we soaked in the bathtub, watching the sunset with a drink in hand. It felt like a second honeymoon. Truly mesmerising.

We had a lovely time at Silver Hill Ecovillage. The bungalows are individual units, giving you privacy and freedom, and all have beautiful mountain views. The whole place is unbelievably calm and friendly. After spending many days in busy tourist spots around Sri Lanka, it felt like stepping into a different world. This is a truly authentic Sri Lankan experience that everyone should have at least once in their lifetime. We requested a different bungalow than the one we originally booked, and they happily gave us the one we wanted. We recommend calling them directly when booking, as some other guests did, so they can help match you with the most suitable bungalow for your group. It’s a bit hard to tell which one fits best just from the website descriptions. Also, they have a bungalow with an outdoor bathtub, which looked amazing. Sadly, it was already booked during our stay. Hopefully next time! And the food was amazing — honestly the best we had in Sri Lanka.

“A New Year’s Eve in the jungle we will never forget!”

The location is just stunning. It’s very far from anything else so be prepared for that. Kandy is 50km away. The staff are AMAZING! So knowledgeable and friendly - explaining about all the animals and fruit trees. He even showed us how to play a Sri Lankan board game!

All are the best. Hotel and hotel staff members are very good. Location is very beautiful. Calm and eco free place. I like to visit again long vacation in this place. Thank you for your treat..

The owner was very helpful and spoke excellent English, while his wife and the rest of the staff were super friendly and attentive. We had the best roti in Sri Lanka here — an absolute must-try! The accommodation is very clean, beautifully maintained, and feels a bit luxurious, perfectly blending with the surrounding jungle. The value for money is fantastic; you really get more than you expect. If you’re looking for a unique, comfortable, and warm jungle experience, Silver Hill Ecovillage is the place to be!

We had a great stay at Silver Hill Ecovillage and really wished we could have stayed longer. The place is right in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by banana and papaya trees – such a beautiful and unique spot. The food was amazing, both breakfast and dinner. Everything was fresh, tasty, and there was plenty of it – so come hungry! The staff were super friendly and always ready to help, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We can totally recommend this place if you’re looking for something special and memorable
