Staff were lovely (they all spoke very good English!), central location, comfortable rooms. Minibar used an honesty system and was very reasonably priced. We enjoyed the narrow gauge railway trip up, the nearby monastery and the nearby hiking. Exceeded my expectations in every way.

A wonderfully clean and comfortable room. We can see the mountains and the railway from our room. There is a vending machine in the hallway where you can buy drinks. Breakfast to order the day before is plentiful and delicious. Friendly staff.

Well-situated hotel just next to the train station (for steam engine train fans) and below mount Oybin. Very tidy and cosy rooms. There is a patio in front of the hotel that you can use after the restaurant closes. Tasty and abundant breakfast. We were called by phone before our arrival with some important information about our arrival and the person spoke our language (Czech).

The breakfasts were pre-ordered from a menu, which worked out very well. We were right on the steam train line, but since they run reasonable hours, it was quite enjoyable. Lovely area, lots of walking opportunities.
