The guest house is in a village, surrounded by hills, very quiet and peaceful. The room is very clean and cosy. We love the delicious home cooked dinner and good hearty breakfast. Will stay here again if we are in Kurmety.

Clean and cosy. In a nice location. Nice views. Use WAZE cos Google Maps doesnt work for this location. Wifi works very well, maybe they did an upgrade. Food is very homely, and large portions. There is no food around so it is a good option. The owners are very welcoming and friendly.

“Beautiful village, beautiful property”

The first thing that I have to mention for this hotel is the location. It's like a fairy tale location. So remote that it doesn't show up in google maps (you have to follow 2gis or the host's directions), and yet close enough to Kolsai lake and Kaindy lakes. Gorgeous little mountain stream 2 mins walk away, overlooking snow covered peaks. There is not a single shop or restaurant or any other stay in this village. Beautiful, peaceful, feels right out of a story book. The house was clean, beautifully decorated. Every room has a breathtaking view of the mountains and the village. Rooms are basic, but nice and comfortable. There is ample parking. Food is also quite good. Nice places to sit and relax in the lawn.

New hotel and very clean, location is outside the tourist area Kolsay, the front view of Tian Shan is fantastic, it’s a very short drive to Kolsay. Great hospitality. Simple breakfast.

We liked everything from the hospitable staff to the home cooked food. The hotel is newly refurbished, impeccably clean and offers very comfortable rooms. The owner was caring and helpful, arranged taxi for our visit to Kaindy Lake, even helped us out for taxi payment because we were out of cash. This was one of the highlights of our visit to Kazakhstan. Highly recommended.

The fantastic Hotel Kolsay Eki Agayindy in Kurmeti village. Although the road to Kurmeti isn't marked on Google Maps, there's actually a road convenient for car. Before the barrier leading to Kolsay Lake National Park, turn right (the road is marked on Yandex Maps or Maps.me). Kurmeti village should be the base for trips to Kolsay and Kaindy lakes, not Saty village. Saty doesn't offer such views. Kurmeti village has two bus stops, a sidewalk, street lighting, a school, a sports field, and a playground. Other than that, there's nothing, not even a shop, but that doesn't matter, as it offers a picturesque view of the mountains and animals (horses, cows, and sheep) grazing everywhere, including the street, sidewalk, and bus stop. And then there's Hotel Kolsay Eki Agayindy, with its fantastic staff. The view from my room window was so impressive that at first I thought it was a photo wallpaper. The views in Kurmeti Village are reminiscent of those from the TV series Yellowstone or Northern Exposure (only instead of reindeer, there are horses). The hotel is convenient for both tourists and families with children. The meals are a different story. Firstly, delicious. Secondly, plentiful. Just when I thought I'd taken the final photo of dinner or breakfast, the lady kept bringing new dishes: chicken, goose, dumplings, and so on.

This really was an exceptional stay and without doubt on of the best places we have ever stayed. Lovely location, very close to the main attractions of the area and surrounded by untouched nature and spectacular landscapes. But most important are the people running this place, they are so nice and the food they prepare is absolutely worth coming for! We will be back one day! Highly recommended!

The property was really clean and the host and everyone working there were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. We were served so much food! The meals were delicious and it felt very safe. The breakfast view was incredible and it’s a short drive to all the lakes. They really take care of you during your stay. Honestly we were a bit sad to leave!

“Stunning view and great service”

We arrived late at the Hotel Kolsay Eki Agayindy the night before, and it was really dark. When I stepped into the dining room for breakfast the next morning, I was stunned and amazed by the view from the window. I had absolutely no idea I would wake up to something so breathtaking, it completely caught me off guard. It felt like I unlocked a new emotion, being hit by that kind of beauty when I least expected it. Breakfast were great, they served various kinds of food and the portion was generous. You may opt for dinner as well, which was only 3,000 tenge per person, it was definitely good value for money. The host could also help to make a reservation for taxi to Kaindy Lake even just a night before.. He told us we could make it to the Kolsay Lake with our own car but must get a driver to Kaindy Lake due to the bad road condition, and it was true.

Amazing hotel in the peaceful countryside Lovely friendly people and a great evening meal home cooked. Had loads of hot water too. Very clean and comfortable and had internet coverage and managed to find the location no problem. Loved the sliders to wear inside the property, leaving the dusty boots at the door! A great view of mountains to wake up to! A great find and would definitely recommend

The hosts were extremely friendly, they made sure we had a great stay. The view from the rooms is spectacular. The property is located in a quiet village in the mountains. The hosts made us typical Kazakh food, which was delicious.

The location given in booking.com was not working. Google map lead us to a totally abandoned place! We reached the location a few hours later than the given time for check in. When we contacted them for the location, they said there was no vacancy, they gave the room to someone else. We were left alone in the street in the extreme cold weather.. Never expected this from booking.com. they could have contacted us in whats app or email before giving the room to others
