Very large rooms & amazing big marble bathrooms. Is an older hotel so furniture is not new. Great location with view to old town& easy quick walk. We requested an additional night which initially staff said hotel full until we showed room available on bookings.com, so booked room & we changed room & happy with both rooms & extra space.

The corner double room that we stayed in was lovely and spacious and extremely affordable for the superb quality of it ! There was a convenience store just down the road ,a 2min walk . The hotel was extremely convenient to walk from to kurashiki denim street and the river which has plenty of stores and food around it .

Location was very good and only a short walk from the cultural area with canals. The rooms were modern, comfortable and well maintained with a pretty high end feel to them. We we only there one night but it was perfect for us.

Amazing stay! Hotel staff were always professional, available and very kind. Room was huge, clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Perfect location, less than 5 minutes from the historical quarter. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Kurashiki.

“Lovely, old charm hotel”

This is a lovely hotel. It is luxurious with marble fitouts in the spacious bathroom with full size bathtub. Very generous size room for a Japanese hotel. It is a 5 minutes walk to the historic quarter of Kurashiki (Though it is quite a distance from the Station). It is set in a quiet street and a good night rest is assured.

Good, convenient hotel close to the station and close to the old town. We had a really spacious corner room overlooking Kurashiki. Breakfast was good.

“A wonderful hotel in downtown Kurashiki”

Our room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. We were able to open windows for fresh air and the bathroom facilities were excellent (the shower in particular). Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is a short walk away from the Bikan historical quarter. There are plenty of great restaurants in the side streets around the hotel - we recommend Soba Trattoria Takenoya for delicious dinners. Also worth a look is the nearby art gallery LAGARTO Plus, featuring the work of artist Ryuzo Kawano. A very enjoyable stay in Kurashiki!

A great hotel for the price. It’s worth paying a little more to get a huge corner room. Excellent buffet breakfast and great location on the edge of the historic district. Also bike friendly- we were allowed to keep our bikes in our room.

“It served its purpose being close to station and old town”

Breakfast was okay - nothing special. The location was great. Ten minutes walk from the station and five minutes from the old town which was stunning. Room size was ok - and clean. The hotel itself is a bit dated.

The hotel has an excellent location. We had a very large corner room which was nice and bright. The bathroom had both a shower and a separate bath . Breakfast was very good , both Western and Japanese . Every morning staff brought round individual pots of strawberries to each person. A lovely touch.
