Originally built in 1889 as a red-brick cotton mill, this historical hotel is just 300 metres from the Bikan Historical Quarter. It features 2 restaurants, a bar and gift shop. “Very enjoyable stay”
We loved being here in the old part of the town of Kurashiki. Everything was within walking distance. The hotel was quiet and a great place to explore Kurashiki and also Okayama ( a short local train ride away). We also went for a day trip to Hiroshima from here. The staff were helpful and friendly. a good choice for breakfast and we also had an evening meal in the restaurant on of the evenings but you needed to book.
