Room is big. Separate shower and toilet area for faster preparations in the morning. Interior of the building looks a lot better than the exterior (which feels a bit old). Room heater is strong enough.

We loved the little thoughts put in place to give home comfort to travellers, like the village style hospitality for visitors. Atour is the name of a Yunnan tribal village. Opon our late rival we were served local chinese tea at the reception, we told of the self serving supper at the 8th floor if we do not feel like going out, Opposite the recption their is a fridge with free ice cream, guest encourage to take away coffee from the coffee machine, we were suprised to see a pop corn machine next to the coffee machinee!! Free afternoon tea near reception surprisingly as good as 5 star hotel's high tea with free banana and ice lemon tea. This common area has a very classy setting surrounded with fresh roses on each table and the wall are decored with wooden book shelfs and Chinese books. On the 8 th floor there is a nice gym, washing machine and dryer, unbelivabe with free washing liquid provided !!! Another star for pillow menu where guest can pick the most suitable pillow, I should have ordered the latex pillow, but too late when realised the option on our last night. The location is closed to two street food and a lot of restaurants. just 2.7km from fast train station(Kunming station), We love the location,just 300 m walk across the pedestrian over pass bridge (accessible by lift) to street food on old rail way that light up at night and street performers. For 29.90 CNY for all U can eatself BBQ i on charcoal pan in table and beverage (beer and non alchohol drinks). If I spend longer time in China, would have joined their Atour membership as they have multiple locations in China.

Good location, room is clean and staff is friendly. Supply free bottle water and free supper during stay which made me feel welcomed.
