Mr Lee, the place caretaker is awesome , friendly and helpful. The garden is well kept and if you really want to shut off, this is the place to go because it’s very quiet (peaceful but there’s a catch to this).

This feels like a small family-run place, and the uncle who handled our stay was kind and welcoming. The bed was clean and we appreciated the quiet surroundings.

Room is clean

Best place to relax! Sleep with sound of river, wake up with bird's chirp. Perfect garden and mount KK just in front of you when you open the door. You can reach amazing river only 5 min walk from room. No aircon in the room. Sleep with natural cool air!

Love the beautiful view and ambiance. Very peaceful and had a clear view of Mount Kinabalu in the morning. We were lucky as we went in Nov where usually the mountain is covered by clouds

The view was awesome. You can literally the sound of birds chirping and rivers flowing. The garden is very well maintained. Kudos to Mr Lee and the staff are makes us feel at home.

Lovely view and surrounding area. Facilities were good and the room was clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Overall a great stay, the nearby restaurant was good value and nice food.

We had a wonderful stay at Spring Garden, Kota Kinabalu. 🌿✨ It’s a cozy little house surrounded by a beautiful garden right at the foothills of the amazing Mount Kinabalu. The atmosphere was peaceful, fresh, and very cooling at night — perfect for a restful sleep. The accommodation was very comfortable: • A spacious and comfy queen-sized double bed • A large bathtub with a fully functional water heater • A clean and well-kept bathroom We were especially touched by the thoughtful gestures a small birthday decoration prepared for my son, along with a ‘small’ bouquet of flowers and fresh avocados waiting at our doorstep. 🥑💐 Such warm hospitality made our stay extra special. Another highlight was the chance to do a short hike to enjoy the waterfall from Mount Kinabalu, which made the experience even more memorable. This place is truly suitable for a small family looking for comfort, nature, and a unique stay experience. Highly recommended! 🌸🏡

The stay was good. The staff were too friendly and helpful. The location was great. The scenery is mindblowing. It was a getaway from all the stress that city life could give, hahaha.

“Expensive secret”

The garden and views were fantastic . The little river at the back was a real treat. Mr Lee, the caretaker, helped us carry our luggage from the car to the unit n back. He had photos with information which he conveniently shared with us via WhatsApp.

“Great Akinabalu view”

The room is big with good view, but you need to be cautious and handle the blinds a lot as people outside can see you. The view is really great, you can see mount kinabalu from just outside your room's door. The flowers are pretty too. The view is 5 stars! The river nearby is wonderful, feels like a private river. The water is ice cold from the mountain. Mr Lee is nice and helpful. The gardener and cleaner are also friendly.

The place is super clean and peaceful place with a beautiful view. The hospitality is very good. The host helped us with our luggages despite us arriving at 11pm. Overall so beautiful. Definitely will come again. Place is so awesome!!!
