Overview
Resort Kumano Club offers indoor/outdoor hot-spring bath, a traditional garden and Japanese-style accommodations. Guests can rent out an entire Japanese-style house or stay in rooms with tatami (woven-straw) seating areas. A free shuttle is available from JR Kumanoshi Train Station, which is a 10-minute drive away and must be reserved in advance. The air-conditioned rooms feature Western-style beds and a tatami (woven-straw) seating area. Each comes with a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Japanese Yukata robes are provided for all guests and some rooms come with a private open-air bath. All rooms have an en suite bathroom and a humidifier. Local souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop and guests can relax with a hot-stone massage. Luggage storage is offered at the front desk and local tours can be arranged for guests. Free parking is available. Guests can request relaxing massages for an extra cost and rent bicycles to tour the area. Multi-course meals featuring Japanese and Western dishes are served for dinner. Guests can choose between Japanese or Western set menus for breakfast. All meals are served at the dining room. Kumano Club Resort is a 15-minute drive from Kumano Kodo Road and Onigajo. Hananoiwaya Shrine is a 10-minute drive away.

“Over priced”
It was comfortable and our first experience of wearing kimono everywhere. The food was good and plenty. The onsen was fine.

Even though the breakfast is buffet style, the quality is good. There was ample space in the breakfast area and good variety of food. The free shuttle is also very convenient and we did not have to wait long for one.

“It was an excellent stay for us. The suite was comfy and the scenery was amazing.”
The service is excellent. Especially Mr Matsumoto Yuto who has been very helpful and his service to us not only in detail but also with passion. Matsumoto san had made extra effort to translate our daily Kaiseki menu in English and also patiently explained to us the food, as well as the sake. He was cheerful and fun as well. The staffs in the Club resort also provided attentive service with enthusiasm. We enjoyed our stay very much.

“worth staying.”
I love their dinner, it’s not the usual Japanese kaiseki. it’s more like fine dining especially the dessert which is so good. the best is all you can drink and all inclusive. value for money!!
