The onsen here is fantastic. Natural spring water and very spacious. Sauna and plunge pool available, along with an open air pool.

Lovely location, very quiet, great views of the river from our room. The onsen was great! Breakfast was an interesting experience for someone not familiar with japanese food! Delicious but largely unrecognisable foods :D

Very peaceful in a beautiful area by the river. Staff is very nice and helpfull. The onsen is very good. Many nice hikes from there. Highly recommended.

Well I dont know where to start...I loved the staff and enjoyed navigating our language barrier (since I dont speak Japanese and nobody at the hotel could speak much English at all). I had never experienced an Onsen before and I didn't expect to find the ordeal particularly comfortable because im not used to being naked around strangers but it wasn't awkward at all and was in fact a relaxing, therapeutic and overall wonderful experience! We paid for the inclusion of breakfast and dinner, all the food was delicious and the waiting staff were delightful and professional. I loved everything about my stay at the hotel, and the surrounding environment was magnificent. I wish I could have stayed longer, two night wasn't nearly enough!
