It was clean and had a nice onsen and sauna. It is connected to shopping and food, which makes it really easy for us to shop and dine on our travel day.

“Central Location, Great Room”
Room was modern, stylish, and very spacious in Japanese standards. Located within the AMU Plaza/Kumamoto station area, the hotel is very traveler friendly. The views you get from every side (even reception) is great. Staff was very friendly, and breakfast was excellent, especially with the offering of many local delicacies.

This is a very classy hotel I loved the location and the breakfast had a good variety. The hotel is very beautiful and clean, there are so many rooms and it seemed like a maze initially. Everything has been considered you can even see live on TV the status of washing machines (1000 yen for wash and dry regular load). There are 3 machines each in women's and 3 in men's areas (on TV you can see how many are being used and it will count down time for completion). Conveniently located in a shopping mall which has food court and restaurants! I picked this hotel as it was directly opposite the JR station and had an early train to catch.

So handy, right next to the train station and in a shopping centre. Loved the laundry channel, telling you when the washing machines were free.

“Excellent staff, rooms and lovely lobby with a great location.”
Highly recommend The Blossom Kumamoto. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is located right at the train station with the AMU mall connected to it. Lots of food options. Best of all are the staff; everyone from the manager to the trainee were very helpful, welcoming and professional. I’d love to check out other Blossom hotels around Japan, the standard is better than other international 5 star brands I’ve stayed in.

Spotless and very spacious room, friendly and very helpful staff, excellent facilities, and the location can't get any more convenient (directly above JR Kumamoto and Amu Plaza). Great value for money.

“Terrific stay in Kumamoto. A little far from the Sakuramachi area although very convenient.”
Location is right above JR Kumamoto and AMU plaza plenty of shopping and restaurants downstairs at the JR shops and Amu Plaza. Terrific bed room clean and spacious with a very comfy bed. Staff were very helpful and kind. Parking was brand new and super convenient downstairs straight up to the hotel lobby. Breakfast buffet leaned towards more Japanese style (which is great) just not sure if you're after a western style brekky. Public bath in hotel is also a nice feature. Hotel is fairly new only 5 years old.
