The service is very good nice omotenashi. I would highly recommend staying here for value and it's city centre location that is right next to the bus stop from the airport. There is food tempura/ramen/sushi shops just downstairs in the building. Very convenient. Mineral water comes straight out of the tap very nice for a bathing and drinking.

Loved the room style. Very clean and just a cosy stay. But also the location was fantastic. Close to everything!

Wonderful place to stay, extremely close to shops and attractions including Kumamoto castle, which we could see from our room window. Beautiful view of the city street with the tram going past. The beds by far was the most comfortable beds we’ve stayed in any hotel throughout our travels! We didn’t have the breakfast but we did check it out and it did look quite nice, but a little pricey. We had a rental car and parking station around the corner was extremely convenient and I think we paid ¥1500 for the night. The room was quite spacious we had three suitcases and two adults and was quite manageable. The outdoor balcony on the reception level was beautiful sitting there looking at the street and the castle. Wish we stayed there longer which next time on our travels that’s what we plan on doing.

“Great Location and Spacious Rooms, but Service Needs Improvement”

The location is excellent, with a stunning view of Kumamoto Castle from the hotel lounge. We booked a room for 4, and it was very spacious and comfortable. The only minor issue was the staircase to the upper bed, which felt a bit slippery.

The location was great.

A fantastic modern hotel right in the heart of Kumamoto city. Next to a main tram terminal, mirroring/built into the main shopping street and a stone throw away from Kumamoto castle, it's neighbouring museums and Kumamon square. Staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful in fluent English, the breakfasts were restaurant quality, the balcony view was fantastic for watching the heart of Kumamoto go by, day, evening and night, and the rooms themselves were cozy, well equipped and blended traditional looks and feels with modern amenities and furnishings. A wonderful stay in a wonderful city. Thank you so much.

The hotel was amazing - the staff were lovely, the room was modern and there was a great terrace bar. The location was central and it was easy to get around. The hotel also showcased local artists, designers and highlighted other interesting places to go in Kumamoto such as cafes, bars.
