Amazing location right in central Kumamoto. Comfortable accommodations. Great value for money Views of Kumamoto Castle

The property is right in the Sakuramachi mall building, allowing you to come out and get straight away into shopping or go outside the city, nearby Kumamoto Castle. The location was great for exploring and departing, right from the morning. I was very happy to immediately see the old cedar and walk towards Kumamoto Castle. The lobby elevator brings you all the way to the high floors and from there you take a second elevator to go down to your room, so the staff always checks who comes in, and card is required. The staff was very nice and welcoming: not only they replied to my message about finding vegan places, they also welcomed me nicely. I received also a small present, which was however fish dashi so not vegan, so I left it in the hotel for the next person to have a double treat and be happy about the stay. Possibly a note about these kind of details, or alternatives to propose to customers, could be a nice present to gift, but I absolutely didn’t mind, I appreciated the kindness shown by the staff and all I interacted with. The hotel is also close to the busy street across on the opposite side (walks a few minutes), bringing you right into the lively face of Kumamoto (although much of it is a very ‘entertainment’ type of street, so be wary of being there too long at night)

View was exquisite. Very fast elevators. Restaurant is amazing, have not had a better dining experience. Staff are great and speak exceptional English. Sitting and looking at the castle with a sake is the play. Having the shopping centre down stairs was awesome. Sound proof as a room could get. Air con is ice cold and fast. Location is fantastic right near the tram stop to the station and the main eating street.

A lovely hotel with large windows that in our case, overlooked the plaza with a view of the castle beyond. The location was beyond convenient with the bus station below, along with shopping and restaurants. The staff were very accommodating and helpful.

Great location! There are a lot of different spots nearby! I had a view of Kumamoto Castle right out of my window! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Any problems or questions I had was answered with ease.

“Hotel and room are clean & modern plus wonderfully smacked in a shopping centre cum train station!”

Everything. Room size (16 sq m) was good - there was a small couch plus nice working table and amenities are very modern. Breakfast was great, a good spread plus complimented by the unblocked view of Kumamoto castle (even though it was drizzling).
