It was a great location for why we were there as we were there to see the one piece statues and there were 2 within walking distance. It was also close to a 24 hour supermarket and coin laundry. The beds were comfortable and there was public transport nearby and the drip coffee provided was great.

Lovely little restaurant attached, would highly recommend as the food was amazing. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, it was basic, but great value.

The entire room reeked of sewage. The stench was coming from the bathroom, so I had to keep the door shut and the ventilation running all night. Even then, the smell remained unbearable.

“Nice hotel. If transport links were better then I would rate better”
It was very close to Luffy station and walking distance of chopper’s. Fukuoka airport limousine stops a few minutes down the street which made settling in less of a hassle.

“Just a normal stay in Kumamoto”
As I mentioned previously the property is good located for my visits. The environment is convenient, so it’s easy to reach the center of the city and the Kumamoto zoo is just about 15 minutes of walk away.

“A nice stay in the familiar place.”
Since this is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel, I don’t have many new impressions. It was convenient for me to get to the places I wanted to visit. Everything in the hotel was as I remembered. The area is familiar, close to shops and walking areas. You can eat in any price range nearby. The very center of the city is easily accessible by tram, which is what I usually did, or by bus, which I am well aware of, but do not use. :)

“Simple and convenient stay.”
This hotel is consistently good. There are floors for smokers and non-smokers. I choose a smoking room not because I smoke, but because I can easily light incense there. This year many new restaurants have opened nearby. There is a large food store within walking distance and a convenience store right across the street. Modern laundry is close to the food store. So, the hotel and area around are very convenient.
