“During renovations”
Great location, easy to access attractions from. The capsules and capsule rooms were both extremely spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and adequately new.

Everything was very uncomfortable. Worse capsule hotel I was in... The locker room was 5 floors away and the smelliest I've been in, locker was so small and narrow my day trip backpack didn't even make it in...

Fantastic value for money matched by comfort and accessibility. The hotel is located right in the heart of Kumamoto with great clean facilities. The capsules are well equipped, comfy and well maintained. The toilets are ample and clean, and there are also designated eating areas as well as saunas. This was one of the comfiest places I slept during my (budget) trip around Kyushu.

“A real capsule hotel experience.”
A real capsule hotel (rather than bums with curtains). Each room has its own entrance and small living space with table, seat lamp & locker. There's a TV & headphones in the bed area and on check-in you're given a pack which includes towels, vanity set, and pyjamas (to return used when you leave). Very clean, private & secure. Good showers in the bathroom on sleeping floor, plus an onsite onsen/sauna. Staff don't speak English but that doesn't stop them showing their eagerness to help (using translation app).

The cabins are big enough to open a large suitcase flat with a tiny bit of space to move around. On the female floor the bathrooms are nice with an area to get ready and a washing machine 300yen + dryer 100yen.

A capsule hotel that does what it was meant too. Please note that you need to check-out every day before 10AM and check-in again after 3PM, meaning put all your stuff in your locker and leave an empty capsule for cleaning purposes. Also note that the shared bathroom is an Onsen. So you need to be ok with that. I didn't see if there were any other private options, but I don't think so. Also the Onsen mentions no tattoo inside. I did not have some myself, so I don't know what's your option if you have some. Other than that, people were friendly and helpful during my stay and the bed was soft. I recommend staying here for a quick stay, not a long one (what was the capsule hotel was meant for after all)
