“Great stay right in the middle of Kumamoto”
The staff were very helpful to me. They supplied a box and information which enabled me to send my parcel to australia from the local post office on a sunday. They were always happy and smiling..

Onsen was nice, there were additional metal bars in the room to hang things, which is great. Hotel provides welcome snacks in the fridge. Better to park at the mall next door, as the 24 hr parking fee is lower than dormy inn's. Literally right across the road.

Good location walking distance from kumamoto castle. Efficient check in and out with the kiosk. Comfortable beds, spacious room. Delicious breakfast.

“How to get to the hotel from the station….”
Great location - although you will need directions from the station. Lovely staff and plenty of of shops restaurants nearby

I like Dormy Inn (not only in Kumamoto but also other places in Japan) because of its delicious buffet breakfast, the inside and outside onsen, and the comfortable rooms. I like the massage too, which is extra but worth it.

Excellent hotel, staff very professional. I was really surprised with all the services of the hotel, the onsen were amazing with two bath inside (cold and hot), sauna and an outdoor bath. After the onsen you can have complimentary ice crea (at night) or yakult (in the morning), plus there is a big selections of manga in the relaxation area (though they are all in japanese). The room is comfy and very cleaned.

“Superb value and facilities. Central location and comfortable.”
Superb value for money. Very well-furnished room along with included Onsen, free snacks/ramen and laundry. Also literally next to the bus terminal and walking distance to Kumamoto Castle. I will definitely use this hotel when in Kumamoto again.

“Good value hotel to be a base to great shopping, food and sightseeing.”
Signature Dormy Inn service. This branch sends slightly smaller compared to the others we have been to. Good natural onsen with open air options. Good number of washing machines and dryers to cater to our laundry needs. Free flow of coffee throughout the day was always a plus. Very good location to be near to various shopping malls, Christmas market, shopping stretch with plenty of food options and Kumamoto castle.
