“Short stay at Comfort Inn”
The hotel offers free parking space which is good to us. Our room could accommodate three of us with a loft bed, which is ok for a night stay. Price was good when we stopped at Kumamoto. There are some small restaurants around hotel within reachable distance. You drive of course would be much convenient.

“Nice but far...”
There are some tables where you can eat at the entrance which is very appreciated and some vending machines inside of it but no food.
