“Convenient location and great value!”
Excellent location on a street with lots of food options and a supermarket just across the road. Room amenities were decent, slightly dated but for the price you pay, it’s great value. Bed is comfortable (on the firm side), aircon is cold, shower heater works quickly — what more can one ask for?

“Meritin Hotel Kuching”
Location is great. You can walk to many places like Waterfront, Carpenter St, Borneo Cultural Museum, St Peter's etc. Staffs are super friendly. Room is small but comfortable. Towels are so comfy to use. Side note : Thank you Gregory for your little welcome note. It made our stay so warm and welcomed.

“Great cosy hotel, superb location!”
We are a family of 8 with 3 rooms booked for two nights. Pleasant welcome and great hospitality from the hotel manager. As my flight arrival was early, he made the effort to rush the rooms for us as we have elderly parents with us. And he greets us all the time whenever he sees us. The rooms are clean and beds are good. Amenities, towels and mineral water bottles are provided too, which I didn't expect for a boutique hotel. The location was truly amazing with lots of restaurants and cafes along the street. There is a good Chinese restaurant next door. It is also walking distance to the waterfront. It was also easy to get e-hailing rides around the city and outskirt areas. Another plus - there are welcome drinks (and Christmas cookies (as we went on Christmas day) the whole day at the lobby.

“Nice hotel in good location, but loud bar opposite”
The location is very convenient and central. The hotel is fairly clean. Very helpful staff and the front desk agent was expecting us, making the check-in process quick and easy although we arrived around midnight.
