“Peaceful must go getaway”

It was a perfect blend of nature and comfort. Set outside the hustle bustle this property has everything you need to relax and have a good time. We were 2 girls who went with 2 of our pets, and must say it was very safe with complete privacy of the whole area to ourselves. We made our meals on the Barbeque provided by them and had a very good time. It is one of those places which you very easily want to go back. Please ensure to get your groceries and pans if you need since the nearest grocery store is a little far. All in all 10/10 to this place.

The remoteness, the facilities, the host! Beautiful place, one of a kind in the UAE and the host is such a positive and nice person! The house has everything one may need and it is the best place in the UAE to relax and connect with nature. I recommend this place with all my heart and I wish to come back soon!

It's was a great experience to escape from the big city to this place among mountains. It is very silent and peaceful peaceful there! We enjoyed preparing barbecue, there is everything available for that. I would definitely recommend this place!

The place is super clean and has everything you may need for bbq. It is quiet and surrounded by mountains. We arrived at night and it was a nice surprise find two funny emus exploring around when we wake up in the morning :)

Super location, really away from everything with stunning views and nice walks. Had grills, charcoal, wood, firelighter provided to BBQ and watch the stars. The room is very spacious and is well provided with fridge, bed was comfy. We didnt need to use the aircon (December). It's not luxurious inside but is all we needed and its a beautiful place, the value for money is good. Staff are really friendly (don't speak English).

This was a truly unique experience! The chalet (I recommend the owner name it “chalet” or “cabin” instead of a tent) is set amidst beautiful mountains, offering a serene escape from everyday life. The sunsets and sunrises from the terrace are absolutely exceptional—what a perfect way to disconnect and unwind. A word of advice: finding your way can be challenging, so I highly recommend arriving before dark to avoid difficulties. Also, be sure to communicate with the staff in advance, as there’s no internet signal until you reach the chalet. Fortunately, internet is provided inside. The staff staying nearby were very helpful and ensured everything was set up smoothly. A great getaway for nature lovers!

“Lovely trip into the mountains”

Very nice stone hut in the nowhere- how pleasant as contrast to dubai! Very quiet, and incredible mountains surround you. Beautiful hikes nearby, just ask the host where to go to. He is very nice, came by to say hello and regularly checked if we needed anything. Loved the view from the big window. Beautiful terrace. AC is working well. No stove, only barbecue, but everything for it is provided, and the house has a fridge, so bring your own food (no supermarkets in the vicinity). Dog friendly, which was a big bonus.

“Heaven on Earth”

The minute I walked into this residence.. I extended my stay another night. I didn’t know what to expect, but certainly everything exceeded my expectations. It felt like a little piece of heaven on Earth and honestly, if I could I would’ve chosen to stay longer. This place is secluded in the middle of gorgeous mountains. You have everything you need here.. hot water, air conditioning, WiFi.. outside there is a beautiful terrace complete with a fire pit. One of my favourite moments was cooking a BBQ at night and watching the stars in complete silence.. except for the sound of the breeze, crickets and the fire crackling. I didn’t have the chance the meet the owner, Sultan. However he was really attentive through WhatsApp and made sure I was 100% comfortable and satisfied. There were 2 care takers on site who were also available if I needed anything.. I must mention I was a solo female traveller and felt completely at ease and safe in this place. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It’s perfect to escape city life and reconnect back to yourself and nature. The surrounding area is magical.. I can’t put it into words, you will have to see it for yourself. Thank you and Shukran 💗

“Magical, amazing, unforgettable”

We stayed for 2 nights in Wadi Kub, Ras Al Khaimah at Hiking Break Resort. The place is magical, and although we initially booked for only 1 night, we extended our stay because of how nice it was. Sultan, the owner of Hiking Break Resort, is such an amazing and kind person and is an original local of the area. We had our own small 1-bedroom villa with mountain views and a beautiful terrace surrounded by farms and mountains. Sultan provided us with everything we needed, from barbecue tools to fresh towels, body wash, shampoo, hot water, and a shower. Additionally, there was even a Nespresso coffee machine, a small fridge, and plenty of mineral water available. Everything in the room was brand new, including a queen-size bed, dining table, a small majlis, and more. The place is super clean and tidy. Sultan even provided us with portable WiFi from Etisalat and gave us recommendations for locations to visit and discover, including hiking trails. This place is a true hidden gem nestled between the mountains. There are 2 caretakers who helped us with everything; they are really great guys and truly honest people. Words can't express how much we enjoyed our time here and how much Sultan made our stay amazing. We will definitely come again, and I recommend families, couples, or tourists to visit this place and stay for more than 2 nights because it's worth it. Thank you, Sultan, and I wish you all the best. I need to mention that even a small sedan car can drive to this place because the road is okay, and the location can take you straight to the place. Sultan will support with everything. The corn they grow is amazing, and you will see around mountains, goats, and a lot of birds.
