Lovely, clean and comfortable room in a quiet neighbourhood. Only downside was the desk was too small/narrow to fit laptop comfortably to work.

“Something different for Kuantan”

We booked two rooms (1 standard double, and 1 double with garden room). i appreciate the thought put into designing this space, as one can see that the owner has a clear idea of their own vision. It was quite smart how back to back houses were arranged to create 18 rooms with enough landscaping consideration. The parking space also requires some skill and creativity haha. For me, the rooms were well designed and had most amenities but the garden room had a very damp smell and the door was hard to close due swelling issues so I feel some maintenance is probably required. As we drove into Kuantan, the location of SilaLima was very accessible to us, close to the beach and also some restaurants and cafes we wanted to go to. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

Nice ambience and good location

We loved the whole environment, and design. Worth exploring. Nearby city centre. Was very comfortable. The design was particularly amazing. The bathroom was designed so it had huge ventilation like Bali homes great experience. We had a tour at the whole property, every room has its unique layout, which made it so much interesting. There is a coffee shop right in front, so we got coffee via 1 min walk distance. So no need to rush for breakfast. All in all, highly recommended.

I was impressed by its overall design and atmosphere. The Japandi-style interior is cozy and calming, and I particularly loved the abundance of plants that bring a refreshing, nature-inspired touch to the space. It truly feels like a peaceful retreat in the city. However, I was quite disappointed to encounter two roaches in our room during the stay. While the hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable, cleanliness and pest control are areas that need improvement. With better upkeep, this place could easily be a top-notch stay.
