We were quite surprised and grateful to be upgraded to a Superior room upon check in. All the staff were friendly which made the stay a big plus. The hotel is right at the beach which is amazing. There is a nice kids pool and playground which the kids enjoyed. As this is a very old hotel, it would be nice if they refurbished or paint to look more welcoming.
