“Disappointing Experience – Misleading Listing and Poor Conditions”

I’m giving this booking only one star due to several serious issues: Misleading Listing: I booked what was advertised as a studio apartment on Booking.com, with no mention of it being shared. Upon arrival, I received around 15-20 lengthy WhatsApp messages, which I didn’t read in detail, assuming they repeated the information already disclosed on the booking site. A staff member handed me the keys and showed me in but didnt mention anything about someone else leaving there. The next morning, a stranger walked into the apartment claiming he had been renting a room there for the past five months. I was shocked, as no one had mentioned this in advance. The property later claimed this was stated in one of the messages they sent — but this is unacceptable. If the Booking.com listing doesn't state that the studio is shared, you can’t expect guests to find out only after arrival. Besides, a studio means one bedroom and a bathroom, what i was given was a 2 bedrooms apartment which clearly is not what I'd booked. Unpleasant smell:  My bedroom ( especially bed, pillows, and sheets)— had a bad smell. On top of that, the long-term tenant left his shoes and dirty socks by the entrance, which made the entire place smell even worse. No Hot Water on Departure Day: While this was a minor issue given the heat, it’s still not ideal to be unable to shower properly before leaving. Cleanliness Issues: The room was clearly not properly cleaned. There was noticeable dust and dirt under the bed, which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, if not months. No Luggage Storage: If you’re checking out but leaving Kuala Lumpur later in the day, be aware that there’s no place to store your luggage — you’ll need to carry it with you. This is another minor issue which may be important to consider while making your booking. Poor Customer Service: When I contacted the property about the unexpected stranger in the apartment, there was no apology.

Room door has been knocked, kicked by unknown for many times... Try to call the pic but not answered.
