The views were amazing. I don't think you'll get a better view elsewhere. Everything was neat and the hosts were super welcoming.10/10 recommended.

“perfect jungle-island getaway”

What you see in the pictures is exactly how the property is, the view from the terrace is absolutely stunning, at night you hear the jungle sounds and on the approach to the property you get greeted by monkeys, in three words perfect jungle getaway! But what sets this apart are the hosts Gordon and Norlinda, we only had 2 and half full days in Langkawi, and within 30 minutes of our arrival Gordon helped to arrange a scooter for us, which saved a ton of time for us getting around the island. Moreover, they gave us a whole host of useful recommendations as to where to go and what to see from where to eat and which beaches to see to where to get wine for the evening gazing at the town below from the terrace, for such a short stay this information turned out to be invaluable for us.

The accommodation was an absolute dream, and in my opinion, it offered the best view on the island. The room was clean, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. Breakfast was served on the veranda with stunning views over the entire island. The hosts, Gordon and Norlida, go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. When my friend fell ill, they were incredibly supportive – driving us to the doctor and the hospital, and being available around the clock. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended! Thank you for everything.

Amazing views. Probably the best in Langkawi. And Gordon is exceptionally knowledgeable about the Island and a fantastic host. The area is full of wildlife from Squirrels, Monkeys and various birds so if you like that you will love the place. Breakfast was always enjoyable with the views, the talks we had with Gordon and the bread he makes. A vey relaxing place to be and you could spend the whole day on the Veranda taking it all in. “very good value for money, outstanding views, friendly hosts.”

Veranda Nautica is about 10 min up the hill from Kuah town. Although the approach is a bit steep and in the middle of the woods, its well worth the journey uphill. The view is absolutely breathtaking, offering a full panorama of the Kuah town, the bay and the many islands in it. Surrounded by thick foliage, one can see families of spectacled langurs and hornbills. Gordon and Norlida and very gracious and friendly hosts with plenty of tips to explore the island. Gordon assisted us rent a motorbike and arrange boat tours to see the mangrove forests on the north of the island. They have 3 lovely and friendly dogs who are playful and always looking for cuddles. :) the room is clean and very tastefully decorated with antique Chinese furniture and well equipped with all the necessary amenities like fan, airconditioning, etc. Breakfast includes fresh fruits and cereals, juice and coffee and is delicious. We thank both for their kindness and hospitality.

“Discovery of a gem”

Locaction especially is beautiful and peaceful. The villa provides a fantastic view of the town of Kuah and the bay below the mountain. The veranda in front of the bedroom is fabulous and so relaxing with a veriaty of birds in the surrounding jungle forrest trees.

Found this place last minute — and I’m so glad I did! Everything the reviews said was true. The views were absolutely stunning and completely unmatched — honestly, even more breathtaking than the photos (which don’t do it justice at all). In the morning, we were greeted by wild monkeys — such a cool surprise, especially since we hadn’t seen any during our stay in Langkawi. The setting is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature and perched high above the mountains. Our room was cozy, charming, and had everything we needed. Gordon was an exceptional host — friendly, helpful, and full of great tips on what to do and see. It felt so natural and easy chatting with him. I’d recommend this place to anyone who loves tranquility, nature, and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had such a wonderful stay, with a truly breathtaking view right in the heart of nature. Waking up to that scenery every morning felt like a dream. What made the experience even more special were the two amazing hosts – the best I’ve met so far – who made me feel so welcome and at home. And of course, their three lovely dogs added so much joy and sweetness to my stay. If I ever return to Langkawi, I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. Thank you so much Norlida & Gordon. “Astonishing view and uphill chill”

Lovely stay with view above the city. Room beautifully designed, clean and spacy. We met just one of the hosts - Gordon. Checked us in, showed us everything, prepared delicious breakfast on time, shared useful tips. Way up is a bit of adventure when driving but nothing impossible. 2nd time was much better and 3rd was already fun and easy. Loved the dogs and gekos ❤️ I'd come back for sure even for longer stay.

“Warm stay in the jungle”

First of all, Gordon and Norlida are great host and you get the feeling of visiting family or close friends rather than accommodation hosts. They share practical tips about the island, things to do, dining options and anything else. The villa and annexes are in a remote uphill area with an adventurous road leading to it. As a consequence, it is nested in a forestry jungle with ample wildlife and has beautiful and picturous views on the beautiful island. You are also welcomed by very friendly dogs. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the necessary amenities. I’d definitely recommend the place while staying on the island.

We spent 2 nights in Veranda Nautica, and it was amazing stay! First of all, owners met us and allowed to have early check in as well as late check out. Im very thankful to this. Second thing is that location and the view is picturesque!!! Imagine that you are living in the forest, kinda jungles with a lot of different trees, flowers and the view is stunning-town below and a sea with multiple green islands are in front of you!!! Wow!!! L9cation is verily close to all facilities, restaurants, banks, petrol station, jetty! Thirdly, it is very peaceful and calm place where you dont hear anything which can disturb you!!! Only 3 nice dogs are on duty, but they are not bothering at all! Moreover, they are so cute and playful! Accommodation is very very clean, you have a small minibar with cold drinks, which is also favorable after some day trips once you are coming back to Veranda. As I told in the beginning, owners , Gordon and his wife are so helpful, friendly and advising how abd where to spend time better, even Gordon helped us to book SPA with nice massage at the same day of arrival and later booked fishing trip for us!!! Thanks a lot for these adorable 2 nights in Langkawi!
